Responsible use of energy and materials is part of how we work. Our approach brings together effluent treatment, heat recovery, recycling and care for our people.

Water and Chemical Management

The yarn factory has an on-site Effluent Treatment Plant to process production by-products. Baly’s published approach includes avoiding AZO, APEO and NPEO chemicals and sourcing dyes and chemicals from suppliers that follow ZDHC restricted-substance requirements. Ask the team for documentation relevant to your order.

Recovering Energy

Boiler economizers reclaim heat from waste gas. Heat from hot water and generator exhaust is recovered for steam generation, helping make better use of energy already within the production process.

Putting Materials Back to Work

Scrap hangers, poly bags and plastic by-products are processed in-house and fed back into the raw-material stream with virgin material. Spongy yarn products use recycled polyester. The published development work with BROS includes ECOFresh Yarn, using a dyeing technique without salt and alkali and with reduced water use.

Care for Our People

Baly describes regular safety and social-awareness training, firefighting equipment and quarterly fire drills. A safe and cooperative environment across race, religion and gender, worker life insurance, separate prayer rooms and subsidized canteen meals are part of the published workplace approach.
